Ever since I can remember, I have always loved September -- for me it signifies the start of good things to come. Whether it's school starting, the college football season getting underway or the new fall TV line-up, good things always seems to happen in September. For EDIN, September signifies the beginning of our school outreach programs and fundraising events. Building upon the success of the Love Your Body Week program in several City of Atlanta Public Schools, we continue to seek funding so that the program can be implemented in additional school systems in the metro-Atlanta area. Our upcoming fall fundraising events are just around the corner. On September 16, Tootsies is hosting a Fashion Event Benefiting EDIN and on October 21, the 2010 Celebrity Dance Challenge comes back to the 14th Street Playhouse. Your support of these events helps to ensure the continued distribution of EDIN's educational programming materials. Supporting EDIN is more than money -- it's a community educated, a stigma reduced, an eating disorder prevented...a life saved.
Kindest regards,
Lisbeth Rhine Executive Director 404-816-3346 lisbeth@myedin.org
