Dr. Cory's Essential (Virtual) Cleanse. It was so gentle on my body and very easy to incorporate into my active, daily life.It was wonderful to reconnect to my own sense of self nurturing by learning to prepare new, healthy and yummy recipes.
Before starting the cleanse I felt super intoxicated, my digestion was out of wack and I had two rashes on face for weeks. I was crashing from sugar binges around 4pm and feeling lethargic. By day 5 of the cleanse I noticed a steady flow of energy throughout the day. Surprisingly I did not crave sugar or miss my morning cup of coffee. Coming off the cleanse the rashes on my skin started to clear up, my digestion was back on track and
I evenpounds. The best part of it all is that I feel more balanced and continuing a healthier way of eating seems like a natural progression.
I don't feel like binging, as I have in the past while on other cleanses, such as the master cleanse.

I am deeply grateful for Dr. Cory for developing a wonderfully effective and comprehensive cleanse.
I totally recommend the essential cleanse to anyone interested in gaining a better grip
on their health.

Here's How I Prevent the Flu
newsletter header
Hello!

I just wrapped up a two-week Essential Cleanse that I did along with my last Live class, and I have to say that I feel GREAT!
I will often spend my cleansing time exploring other programs and products, so it was fun to reconnect with my program and I have to say it ROCKS! I lost 5 pounds, slept impeccably, woke after 6-7 house feeling clear and refreshed,  my mental clarity and energy were consistant throughout the day and I recommited to my daily meditation practice. Good stuff.

I had the pleasure of cleansing with and supporting my housemates in their first cleanse.  They are currently shiney glowing specimens of empowerment and inspiration to themselves-and others around them.

I have always known that cleansing is vital to our physical bodies and in the prevention of chronic illness, and that the Essential Cleanse Program helped people eliminate low grade and chronic nagging health issues like digestive imbalances, joint pain, fatigue and skin issues to name a few.  But what I really got through this cleanse experience and witnessing my housemates is that the Essential Cleanse also changes your consciousness. Ok I know that sounds a little out there, but here is the deal.  When your focus is on procuring only health promoting foods and performing health promoting practices, your body thrives and you thrive.  And even if it is just for two weeks, you will take the experience and the teachings with you and your life can never be the same again.  Not in some scary I-am-going-to-be-a-health-nut-now sort of way (although that is not so bad :)), but in the sense that new doors have opened and there are many through which you will not step back again.

When you commit to transforming your health, you impact everyone around you.  So if there are people in your life who you would like to support in be healthier, do your work, be the inspiration to them, and before you know they will be joining you on the ride.

So if you have been considering taking an Essential Cleanse Class, I encourage you to participate in one of my upcoming cleanses- whether your motivation is to lose a few pounds or to expand your consciouness! And because... the rates for my programs will be increasing after January 1st.  But if you register for any of the scheduled classes by December 31st, you will save big time.

Ok.  So this issues is actually about flu prevention- and not with a flu shot.  I have written about my concerns about the flu shot, and actually have a solution to offer you that is more effective.
So here is how I prevent the flu:
  • Cleanse at least 2x/year
  • Take Mucococcinum (see below)
  • Take Vitamin D, at least 1,000 IU daily in the winter
  • Have a medicine cabinet stocked with remedies to nip any cold/flu symtoms in the bud
  • Laugh, exercise, hydrate and eat lots of greens

So read on.  I have also included a recipe for one of my favorite ayurvedic cleansing foods- Kitchari. Yum!

Remember, healthcare reform starts with you, but you gotta know what to do!

In health!

Effective Flu Prevention

Safe and Effective Flu Vaccine Alternatives.

If you would like a review of why I am opposed to the flu vaccines, take a look at this
post on my blog.

Muccocinum: My Numero Uno
MucococinumUsed effectively in Europe for decades, this homeopathic remedy provides a whopping 88% effectiveness rate for preventing the flu- no matter what strain is going around! No flu vaccine is even coming close to that.  And, it's super simple: Take 1 tablet every other week from October to March. You can also take it to treat flu symptoms-clinical evidence also shows it has an 82% efficacy rate. And while it sounds similar, it is not the same as over-the-counter Oscillococcinum.

Mucococcinum: It's cool. It's Euro. It works and it's on sale in my natural pharmacy 'til November 15th!
