I am excited to say that I am celebrating my 10th year of practice this month!
There have been significant milestones along the way- getting my license, opening my first clinic, celebrating five years of practice. With this anniversary comes something more subtle- a real marker of experience, confidence and trust in an expansive field that feels so fresh and new everyday. Reflections
Lao-Tzu's classic quote " A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" is resonating strongly with me right now. No matter how cliche it sometimes feels, it is the ultimate motivator. As I reflect on 10 years of practice, all I can say is "It's true!". Who would have thought that horrible hippie tincture I tried at an Ojai retreat in High School would lead me to were I am now.
I invite you to reflect on your life, acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments and growth. To take steps towards your visions and dreams, pay attention to the signs and trust your path. And most importantly, enjoy the ride, because the beauty is arrival is an illusion! There is always further to go.

Cory Reddish, ND received her doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1998, and is licensed in both California and Washington. She founded the Uptown Center of Natural Medicine and Uptown Natural Pharmacy in Port Townsend, WA, where she enjoyed a thriving practice for 6 years. Dr. Cory has been a guest faculty member at several colleges and retreat centers. Currently she has relocated to Mill Valley to develop a line of quality nutritional and herbal products, teach her Essential Cleanse Program, and consult privately-empowering people to become healthier and happier, while having fun along the way! She recently joined the Transcendentist team to help clients with mercury detoxification and naturopathic support for dental and other health issues, and has a private practice in San Francisco specializing in clinical detoxification.
