Greetings!
Welcome to everyone that I met at various Mind, Body, Spirit shows in the Autumn - this is my first newsletter since then - I haven't forgotten about you! Its been a funny old year hasn't it? I know lots of people saying that they can't wait to put 2010 behind them as it seems to have been a year of change, upset and upheaval - probably due to the masculine energy its been dominated by.... well, the good news is that we move into a feminine dominated 2011 so the pace of change will slow down and we can now look forward to slow, steady change and building great things for the future. I've got some great workshops coming up that may help you with your planning so do take a look and I look forward to meeting you again in 2011.
Best wishes, Dawn x |

Its now the classic time of year for planning your goals and resolutions for 2011..... but..... I'd like you to make sure you've really got 2010 out of your system first! Its been such a changeable year that I'm sure stuff will have come up for you to deal with and process in order to get on with your life - relationships, communications, career, money, we've had them all this year haven't we? So, my suggestion for today is that you spend some time de-cluttering your mind and your thoughts of 2010. Take a few minutes to think back over the year, no matter how hard its been, reflect and notice what you've learnt, how you've grown as a result, what you will now do differently. Even during tough times we can always find a different way of seeing things and developing as people as a result. This is also a great time to physically de-clutter, get rid of anything that is still reminding of last year, or just nagging at your sub-conscious - you know how that pile of paperwork/ironing looks at you, begging you to deal with it and put it away! Do it now! Clear the stagnant energy and make room for the new in 2011. |
Having really put 2010 behind you, you can now really go to town planning 2011 :) I don't really believe in resolutions as they seem to set us up for immediate failure - we're programmed to think a resolution won't last beyond the end of January! So, think instead of everything you want to achieve, who you want to become, what you want to do, change, be. Write it all down. Spend time picturing yourself having achieved your dreams and notice how great you feel. Creating a vision board is a great way to remind your sub-conscious what you want to bring into your life..... find a pin board or large piece of paper, then look out for images, quotes, anything that symbolises your goals and pin them to your board. Then make sure you spend some time every day focusing on your board to remind yourself of what you want to attract into your life. I'd love to know how you're getting on so why not join me on Facebook and/or Twitter?
If you'd like some focused help on setting your goals and to learn about using the law of attraction to help you achieve them then take a look at two half day workshops I've got coming up on 15th January - even better combine them to make a great day of visualising your future into being. See my Wellbeing Workshops page and look out for 'Get Set for 2011' and 'Change your thinking, Change your life'. Its going to be a fab day with like minded people - space is limited so book now by emailing dawn@appearingday.co.uk

Even Take That on their latest album have a track called 'I need an affimration' ! ..... I think the message about positive thoughts is gradually getting through.... I thought this would be appropirate for New Year.... I am willing to change and grow
I am willing to learn new things because I do not know it all. I am williing to drop old concepts when they no longer work for me. I am willing to see situations about myself and say: 'I don't want to do that anymore'. I know I can become more of who I am. Not a better person, because that implies that I am not good enough, but I can become more of who I am. Growing and changing is exciting, even if I have to look at some painful things inside me in order to do it.
