What's new in the ReStore

The Habitat ReStore has a huge inventory of quality materials. If you haven't had a chance to visit the store in Goleta recently, here's a sampling of what is currently in stock:

The ReStore resale outlet provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat's community improvement work.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore exists to:
  • generate income to supplement Habitat's operating budget;
  • provide an alternative source for low-cost home improvement materials for the general public;
  • facilitate the re-use of donate materials and minimize the volume of waste entering our local landfills;
  • provide a source of no-cost building materials for Habitat's construction projects, helping Habitat projects achieve "green" and budget goals.

Habitat for Humanity is looking for homes in need of A Brush with Kindness

Building Homes - Building Hope
affordable homes update

We are currently developing plans for 12 new affordable homes to be built on Canon Perdido Street. On June 27th the project was received favorably when it was presented for concept review to the Architectural Board of Review.  The design team is hard at work on the site and building plans. Stay tuned for further details as the design evolves over the next six months.
