| What's new in the ReStore |
The Habitat ReStore has a huge inventory of quality materials. If you haven't had a chance to visit the store in Goleta recently, here's a sampling of what is currently in stock:
The ReStore resale outlet provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat's community improvement work.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore exists to:
- generate income to supplement Habitat's operating budget;
- provide an alternative source for low-cost home improvement materials for the general public;
- facilitate the re-use of donate materials and minimize the volume of waste entering our local landfills;
- provide a source of no-cost building materials for Habitat's construction projects, helping Habitat projects achieve "green" and budget goals.
