Volunteer Spotlight
- Habitat Bachelor Party
|
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to Michael Osborn and his
friends for spending his bachelor party painting the interior of the
Laguna Cottages senior housing. After a long day he said, "It was a
wonderful experience that met my hopes and far exceeded my
expectations." His quote is a testament to his amazing spirit of giving
back to the community and is an inspiration to us all. Congratulations
Michael, and best wishes for a happy marriage. Thank you for spending
your bachelor party with us, we look forward to seeing you again on the
San Pascual build site!

Building Homes - Building Dreams
|

Building Homes - Building Dreams is a community-wide effort to raise funds necessary to build
four new homes on San Pascual Street. The campaign will provide
for a property acquisition fund and will also establish a much-needed endowment
fund for Habitat. In addition, the campaign will support Habitat's environmentally-friendly " ReStore"
in our community. The
campaign is led by campaign co-chairs and community leaders David
Spainhour and
Christine Garvey and is seeking gifts from individuals, foundations and
businesses over a three-year pledge period. We are pleased to report we have raised 56% of our goal! Please help support our important work. Watch the Building Homes - Building Dreams video. |
