2007-08 Campaign Still in Progress!

United Way of Allen County's 2007-08 campaign is still in full swing, with many workplace campaigns just getting underway. The campaign ends March 15, 2008.

Some workplace campaigns are showing positive results. To date, companies such as Do it Best, Corp., Fort Wayne Metals, Indiana Michigan Power Company, IPFW, Fort Wayne Community Schools, Mullinix Packages and Lincoln Financial Group have turned in better results than their 2006-07 campaigns. Thank you!
Positive workplace campaigns are essential to help meet the growing health and human service needs in Allen County. Many agencies are reporting increased needs from clients who cannot afford health care, utility bills, shelter and more.
Strong workplace campaigns are also critical because money that comes to United Way through grants and initiatives ebbs and flows from year to year.

Diversity Celebrated on Rivergreenway

Diversity Mural     Local elementary, middle and high school students gathered along the Rivergreenway recently to unveil three murals they created to celebrate diversity. The murals are a project of United Way of Allen County's Diversity Cabinet and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne. The partnership between United Way and the Boys & Girls Clubs is the first of its kind in the nation. Read more.

Now Tell Me Again: What does United Way Do?
Confused about what United Way does to make Allen County a better place for everyone? For starters, United Way is the only community fundraiser that supports such a wide array of critical health and human services in our area. United Way helps fund more than 70 health and human services and initiatives carried out by 36 agency partners, such as the Red Cross, League for the Blind and Disabled and Early Childhood Allicance. But United Way is so much more. Click here to get the full story.
