The Budget Conference Committee has approved trailer bill language that would put a ballot initiative before voters in November that would repeal the Proposition 49 funding guarantee.
The recommendations of the Budget Conference Committee have not been approved by the Legislature and the Governor yet, but now is the time to act if we want to save after school programs.
There are three ways to get involved and take part in ensuring that Propositon 49 continues to receive the funding that was approved by the voters.
