Kelly's Favorite New Chair

You just never know what gem you might find for a mere $50 at a flea market. With some creative juice and the help of our talented faux artist and workroom, this cutie will be lovingly placed in Kelly's new office come August.

Oooohh the touch, the feel of .... FABRICS!

  It's simply too hot to get all serious with a business newsletter! So figured we'd continue having some fun sharing our summertime faves!

First up, our favorite fabric palette of the month that we recently presented to a client for her home. It's summertime delicious! Sofas, chairs, rugs, and more all in soft blues, greens, peaches and cremes. Lovely!

Fresh Laundry


Now a days, Moms are crazy busy, Home Owners Associations have all kinds of rules and restrictions, but can we just remember linens on the line for a minute? Those crisp, fresh smelling sheets? The smell of lavender in the breeze? It's a great memory for some of us. Maybe we should recreate it!
Cocktails Anyone?
Just looking at this cool, delicious Mojito relieves the stress of the heat we have felt this summer! Here's the
"skinny" on how to serve them up at your house:

Ingredients for a Mojito
  • Light Rum
  • Lime
  • Sugar
  • Mint
  • Soda Water
Quantities for one drink:
  • 2-3 oz Light Rum
  • Juice of 1 Lime (1 oz)
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2-4 Mint Sprigs
  • Soda Water
Blending Instructions:
  • Lightly muddle the mint and sugar with a splash of soda water in a mixing glass until the sugar dissolve and you smell the mint
  • Squeeze the lime into the glass, add rum and shake with ice
  • Strain over cracked ice in a highball glass
  • Top with soda water, garnish with mint sprig and serve
