We hope that the Spring like weather we've been enjoying has brightened your spirits and given you some home improvement fever! If you live in Atlanta and are in the mood for some great finds, visit the Scott Antique Market this weekend. This is the World's Largest Monthly Antique show and it is right here in Atlanta. We had a successful trip a few weeks ago to the Business of Design Conference which was held in Palm Springs, CA (darn). The Power of Paint
Many of the new homes built today (especially in Atlanta) feature beautiful architectural details especially in the millwork. But many times, that millwork is then painted white and is not celebrated. Here are before and after photos of a barrel ceiling in a foyer that we completed this month.

Then again, there are older homes that are just lacking lustre. In this bathroom, not only did we have fun painting the walls and ceilings, but we hit the cabinets too! See that cute stool? That was just a simple white and wood stool purchased from Target before our faux painter got her hands on it!

Team Member Spotlight:
Chris Ray
Most of you know our installer, Chris Ray who has been a key part of our team for 7 years. Here's a few things you might NOT know about him:
1. Chris lost 100 pounds all by himself!
2. Chris and his wife Lisa are expecting twins this summer!
3. Chris has finally taken the leap and started his own business, Hangman Installations, Inc. Of course he is still our main man, but we hope that you will support him and spread his name around! He is a jack of all trades when it comes to safely and accurately hanging window treatments, blinds, art, shelves - you name it! His email is: hangmaninstallations@comcast.net.

We Keep Giving
|
As we've mentioned before, one our charity efforts involves supporting women entrepreneurs in Third World countries. We donate much needed funds to certain women and when they are able to repay the money (thru a micro-lender), we recycle that donation to another woman of our choosing.
