Greetings!
Spring is in the air and we hope this has brought some fresh air into your life!  We have many clients who are somewhat unaffected by the current economic climate and others that are really having a tough time.

Surprisingly, Kandrac & Kole Interior Designs just enjoyed the busiest January we've had in 4 years.  How could this be?  Well, we truly believe that the concept of "nesting" is in full force these days.  It's common knowledge that now is not the best time to try to sell your house.  It also might not be the best time to go on an extravagent vacation.  Therefore, we find that our clients are finding comfort and peace at home and are making improvements to their homes that they have put off until now.  Whether the project is big or small, we find that these changes are bringing great joy and peace during a time when turning on the tv is down right depressing!

In January, we received a heartfelt note from a client that read, "Well, I lost my job last month due to this economy. There is a blessing in all of this - I just don't know what it is yet. I want you to also know again that I am grateful for the work you did in my home. At a time of being personally challenged right now - it's the warm comfort of my beautiful nest that helps me stay grounded. Home is where our story begins. Thanks again for helping me create that feeling of 'home'".

Home is Where the Heart Is
A Recent "Feel Good" Project for Us...
Quite often, we are blessed with clients who give us lots of free reign.  Sometimes, we get bold and start searching for hidden treasures in basements and closets that maybe the client thinks is not worthy of being incorporated in a new design.  Well..... we have lots of vision and we LOVE to make old things new again and to revitalize old memorabilia, furniture, photos, etc. with the help of some amazing talents.  Our faux painters, framers and antique refurbisher have helped us bring tears of joy to many a client when they see that a "new" space can be more joyful and peaceful than the "old" space.
