Merger Agreement Between Spartan Training Solutions and LMS Defense
Sparks, NV (February 25, 2011) - LMS Defense and Spartan Training Solutions announced today they have signed a definitive merger agreement that will combine Spartan Training Solutions into LMS Defense, providing LMS Defense with an enhanced training presence and expansion into additional locations within CONUS.
The merger with Spartan Training Solutions, based in Sacramento, California, further increases the LMS Defense portfolio of services. "This merger represents a pooling of the expertise of two major full service defensive training and consulting firms, in an effort to not only continue accommodating our existing customers but also to allow us to expand our foothold in other CONUS locations," said John Chapman, CEO of LMS Defense.
Ken Hardesty, CEO of Spartan Training Solutions, stated, "The merger combines two outstanding training companies with strong commitments to our customers and the communities we serve. I am pleased that Spartan Training Solutions' reputation and quality of service will continue under the name of LMS Defense."
Hardesty, who is the Lead Instructor, will continue his position within LMS Defense. His years of experience, accreditations and certifications will favorably dovetail into the LMS Defense instructor cadre.
