Welcome to the December edition of the LMS Defense newsletter.  As we enter December, it is a time to reflect upon 2010.  It has been a great year for LMS Defense, delivering numerous classes, having our first annual Customer Appreciation event, developing new business ventures and most importantly having all of you as members of the LMS Defense family.  It is the valuable inputs from our students and incessant instructors that allow us to evolve and continuing providing quality training to you.  2011 is going to be a great year for LMS Defense and we look forward to training with all of you in the coming year.

We've been busy delivering classes in November.  Our one day clinics are extremely popular and the instructors have been filling those classes as well as others.  At our Combat Development Center in Fernley Nevada, students braved the chilly weather to learn how to operate in and around vehicles and later applied those skills in some force-on-force exercises.

In Sacramento California, students had an enjoyable time in our Carbine 2 course.  The rain and pools of water didn't fray anyone from taking their carbine skills to the next level.  If you missed this one then don't fret as Carbine 2 is being offered several times in the coming year.

In San Jose California, we had a great turnout in one of our Defensive Medicine courses.  Students used the Austere Provisions Company medical kits to help them learn how to provide medical assistance during the first critical minutes before emergency medical services can arrive.

Our instructors have been diligently working on scheduling classes for 2011.  Additional classes are being added so please routinely check our LMS Defense course schedule for the latest course offerings.  If there is a class that you would like to host in your area, then please contact us so that we can work with you on the logistics to make it happen.

Coming up next month is the 2011 SHOT Show and LMS Defense will be there too!  On Thursday, January 20th at 1900 hours we will be having an "LMS Defense Meet & Greet".  There will be a non-hosted cocktail reception and dinner, where you can meet the instructors and staff and get to know your fellow alumni. 

We will be meeting at the Trevi Restaurant, located at the Forum Shops in Caesar's Palace (3500 South Las Vegas Blvd).  If you want to attend, please RSVP to Lisa Jackson so that we can ensure there is adequate room for everyone.  We hope to see you there!

Lastly, during this Christmas season, there will be many soldiers, Marines, airmen, sailors, contractors, police, fire and EMS personnel who will be away from home and their loved ones.  Please pray for them and their families and remember the sacrifices that they make for us so that we can enjoy the holidays.
