Greetings!
Welcome to the November edition of the LMS Defense newsletter. Recently, we have partnered with the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, the Arnold Engineering Development Center Police Department and the TNARNG Volunteer Training Site Command. Look for several LE/Mil only and open enrollment courses being offered in the greater Nashville area in the coming months.
October has been productive for us in other areas as well. We have had numerous classes being delivered throughout the month. In Okanogan, Washington our Patrol Carbine class is designed to provide law enforcement officers with the necessary skills to employ their carbines. During this 3 day, fast paced course, students learned not only carbine skills, but also other blocks of instruction such as lowlight, medical, team movement, downed officer and others. As you can read from the AAR, the students thoroughly enjoyed the course.
In Alliance, Ohio, the LMS Defense Vehicle Assaulters course was hosted by the Alliance Police Department. It was a very enjoyable class, filled with highly professional students with great attitudes.
In Fernley, Nevada our Home Defense course was greatly appreciated by the students in attendance. They walked away with a greater understanding and personal confidence on how to protect their family and residence. Our students truly enjoyed working inside our shoothouse as well as the force-on-force exercises.
We also just completed the LMS Defense No Light/Low Light course at our Combat Development Center (CDC) in Fernley. The students learned not only how to utilize night vision optics and IR illuminators and lasers but also how to navigate through and clear buildings while working in teams.
In November we have several course offerings which you can view here in this newsletter and also by visiting the LMS Defense website. As a reminder, we have the Rimfire Carbine coming up this month. It's being offered in both San Jose, CA and Fernley, NV. Also this month at the CDC in Fernley, we have the Vehicle Tactics Shooting Package on the schedule.
