Greetings,
Fall is upon us and LMS Defense has been very busy providing our students with excellent training!
We recently completed the "CQB Operations Course" at our Combat Development Center (CDC) in Fernley, NV. The students were introduced to the principals of CQB, working in teams, room entry and domination, negotiating hallways and T-intersections and other related techniques and procedures. You can learn more about this course by reading the After Action Report on our forum.
In the Pacific Northwest, we had a successful "Vehicle Tactics Shooting Package" which consisted of 26 hours of shooting skills, techniques and procedures utilized in and around vehicles. The After Action Report captures the students' experiences and thoughts, as well as some great photos.
In the product evaluation and testing arena, Yancey Harrington recently had the opportunity to test the US PALM AK30 magazines, designed for the AK-47 rifle. You can read about his test results on our LMS Defense Blog.
In the area of course development, LMS Defense has responded to our California customers' needs and have designed the one day Rimfire Carbine course. With the growing popularity of the 22LR M4 training rifle, there is a need to get the most out of this system as a training aid. You will learn specialized skills and techniques that can be directly translated to the full power M4 system. This course is being offered in November in San Jose, CA and also at the CDC in Fernley, NV. Rental carbines will be available as well.
