Greetings!

 

I first want to say I'm happy to be back at the museum as its director in a temporary capacity. I'm sure most of you are aware that Brian Kelsey has left to accept the Managing Director's position at Peninsula Players. We all want to wish him well there.

 

For those of you who don't know, I was Operations Director here and later Executive Director between 1999-2003 before continuing my previous long association with Door County Publishing. I recently resigned as general manager there and responded to an offer from the Museum's Board to oversee the museum operation until Brian's permanent replacement can be found. I expect to be here at least until fall.

 

I look forward to seeing many of you in the coming weeks as the museum has a number of big events planned.

 

First! We must correct a error that went out with a recently mailing related to the Annual Meeting. The event will be held Thursday, July 10, at Stone Harbor Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay. The invitation indicated the meeting was on Wednesday. It is Thursday, July 10. If you plan on attending please fill out the invitation you received in the mail and send in back to us.
