Dear ,
As I'm writing this, we are only days away from the opening of Pirates!, our most aggressive exhibit to date. Currently, over 100 members have signed up for our opening celebration on Friday, May 11 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. If you have not confirmed your attendance at the opening, I kindly request you take a moment to call us today at 743-5958.
I am also pleased to report that the Door County Maritime Museum and the County of Door have entered into a lease agreement for the Museum's continued operations of Cana Island Lighthouse. On Saturday, May 5th, Cana Island will reopen to the public for the 36th year in a row under the leadership of the Museum. It is also worth noting that our Gills Rock museum will be open during Lighthouse Walk weekend and then open to the public for the season beginning Saturday, May 26th.
Thank you for your continued support of the Museum's three locations and I wish you all a wonderful spring!
