Young Leaders United
happeningsUnited Way of Southwestern Indiana
Greetings!
Hello from United Way!
Thank you to everyone that joined us for the Otters game at Bosse Field.  Check out some snapshots below.

Also, we are pleased to announce that this year's Art of Caring project will feature a variety of zoo animal sculptures.  These fiberglass animals are sponsored by businesses and painted by local volunteer artists.  Be the first to see them at our Unveiling at Mesker Zoo's Discovery Center.  We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Michelle Ricketts

The Art of Caring will return this summer with Napoleon's Adventure! a zoo animal theme, featuring a Bengal tiger, elephants, toucans and more. Be among the first to see the sculptures unveiled.  Refreshments will be available.

This event is free, but RSVPs are required.  Please reserve your spot by sending an email to mricketts@unitedwayswi.org by Monday, July 14th.

The animals will be auctioned off in October, with all proceeds benefiting United Way programs.

Who's Napoleon? Napoleon is the main character of a new series of local books for young children. United Way is working with the Early Childhood Development Coalition, with funding from the Welborn Baptist Foundation, to publish Napoleon's Adventures later this year.
