Young Leaders United
happeningsUnited Way of Southwestern Indiana
Greetings!
Hello from United Way!
Thank you to everyone that participated in our poverty simulation.  It was an eye-opening experience.  Many people commented on how real it felt and the evaluations indicated an overwhelming increase in understanding of what people living in poverty face.  Pretty cool!

It's officially summer, which means it is time for a trip to Bosse Field.  For anyone still interested in attending the Otters game, please let us know by Monday, June 2.   We have limited tickets available.

Sincerely,
Michelle Ricketts

Check out the article - it gives a great overview of our direction locally.  We are working on the same issues of education, income and health for Southwestern Indiana.

New Public Service Announcement - LIVE UNITED
We are biased, of course, but this is one hip PSA. Living united means being part of the change for a better community.  Together, united, we can accomplish more than we ever could on our own.  Check out this 30 second video, featuring the new look of United Way.
