Greetings!

Greetings from United Way! It's a busy time for us here as our annual fundraising campaign comes to a close on December 14th and the holiday season approaches.

If you're looking for a holiday volunteer opportunity to get you in the spirit this year, get in touch with United Way's
Volunteer Action Center.  We have an up-to-date listing of needs throughout the community.

Sincerely,
Sara McGuyer

Volunteer with ClientUnited Way is organizing free tax preparation for local people meeting certain income requirements.  We need volunteers to work at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites!

Volunteer Needs:Take an on-line training to become an IRS-certified tax preparer, choose times that you're available to work at one of our VITA sites, then prepare basic tax returns for clients.  Additional volunteer opportunities are available, such as assisting with financial literacy information and greeting clients at the VITA sites.
