The May-August 2012 Schedule of Classes has been posted to the website! Take some time with your calendar and plan a Spring/Summer of quilting fun!

Coming right up on April 30 is "Tea Time" with Angela and Dianne! This is perfect timing...you can create a Mother's Day gift and enjoy tea and other goodies. Also just around the corner is Kathy Ruwe's new BQ III class on Saturday May 12th. This is a great pattern for those large scale prints that are so popular! You'll have this quilt constructed in no time and on to your next project. You'll want to be sure to include a label on your completed quilt....don't forget that Paula has added another session of her wildly popular "Quilt Labels" class! Join her on Tuesday, April 24 from 11am-1pm. Call or stop by soon as this class is sure to fill.....again!

NEW STORE HOURS!!

Beginning in May, The Granary will start closing at 5pm on Saturdays (instead of 6).

Quilt Appraisal

In April 2010, Nancy Bavor became an American Quilter's Society Certified Appraiser of quilted textiles when she successfully passed both the written and verbal certification exams. There are only 90 AQS certified quilt appraisers in the U.S. and Canada and Nancy is the only AQS certified appraiser in Northern California.

We are lucky enough to have Nancy back in the shop on Thursday, April 26 from 12-5pm for quilt appraisals! Please call or stop by to make your appointment. Appraisals are $45 per quilt - appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments. A quilt appraisal would make a great Mother's Day gift!

To the left is the soft colored quilt created by Jody using the pattern "Popsicle Sticks" by Atkinson Designs. We have plenty of the patterns in stock in the shop....stop by for yours today!

Below is our fabric selection for April! Carol will be using

a "layer cake" collection for the April Happy Hour quilt. Our next Happy Hour is Friday April 27 6:30-8pm. Don't miss the fun!! $40 for the fabric....the pattern and fun are free!
