Welcome to March!  But where did January and February go?!  Did you know that March is National Quilting month and that Saturday March 17 is National Quilting Day?!....in addition to St. Patrick's Day....what a great day it will be!  To help you prepare for this glorious quilt month and arm yourself with quilting tips, tricks & inspiration, Granary employee, Julie Cefalu, has started a new blog called "The Crafty Quilter".  She would love it if you stopped by to visit.  You can find her at www.thecraftyquilter.com

Happy Hour

February 2012 Happy Hour Quilt

To the left is the beautiful quilt Carol created using February's Happy Hour fat quarter packet and the Cozy Quilt pattern "Radiant".  There are a few packets left in the shop but they're sure to fly out the door. 

 

Below is our fabric selection for March!  Jody will be using

2-1/2" strips for the March Happy Hour quilt. Our next Happy Hour is Friday March 30  6:30-8pm.  Don't miss the fun!!

Count On It BOM
March Count On It"Count on It" began December 1 but you're welcome to sign up anytime for this fun calendar themed BOM! We're using the book Count on It by Nancy Halvorsen as the "pattern". Visit our Events page monthly and watch our "calendar" grow! If you've already signed up for this fun program, your kit is waiting for you in the shop! 

Kits are $10.95/month. We are happy to mail your kit for an additional fee.

 

 
Angela's Changing Seasons BOM
Changing Seasons-Summer  

Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring are Lynda Howell's 33" x 45" Changing Seasons Block of the Month wall hangings. One of the blocks in each season's wall quilt features a quaint house and tree which change with each season; other blocks of seasonal motifs are unique to each wall quilt. What a better way to start off your Winter than to think of warm Summer days.

Aunt Grace's Garden Party Row of the Month
Aunt Grace's Garden Party 

Vicki Bellino and Marcus Fabrics have joined forces to bring us a stunning 1930's Row of the Month featuring Aunt Grace's Garden Party fabric collection designed for Marcus by Judie Rothermel. Finished size is 77" x 83". 

 

Our ROM program includes the pattern and fabric to complete the quilt top and binding; kits available January through June 2012. Shipping is available for an additional fee.  See our Events page for more details.

 

  

Paris in the Fall BOM

Paris in the FallPaula and Julie will begin their third block of the month quilt together in January. This year's BEAUTIFUL quilt, Paris in the Fall, comes from designer, Sherri K. Falls, of This & That, and features 12 blocks (2 each of 6 designs) and a unique pieced sashing and pieced cornerstones which give the quilt a vintage feel. Classes meet on the first Friday afternoon and Saturday morning of each month-you can choose which session works best for you. One-time fee of $110 for 12-month program; pattern and fabric sold separately.
