Goodness!  Where has the time gone?!  It's been almost a month since we've visited your email box! Shame on us!  So....let's get you updated!

 

UPS and FedEx have been visiting us DAILY bringing us boxes and boxes of new fabric.  We put off taking delivery of fabric till January so we don't have so much to count in December but that just means that we have SO much more fabric to deal with in January!  Kris is our display "guru" so don't be surprised if she has a little less hair these days. Just when we get one display set another line of great fabric arrives!  Good for you....if you get here before it goes out the door!

 

For those of you who are interested in the Count on It monthly series but aren't quite sure how to machine applique, Julie Cefalu has a class coming up on Saturday February 11 from 1-4:30....Introduction to Machine Applique.... that will get you started and on your way!  "Count on It" began December 1 but you're welcome to sign up anytime for this fun calendar themed BOM!  We're using the book Count on It by Nancy Halvorsen as the "pattern".  Pictured is January's block to inspire you!  The February block is just about ready....watch our Facebook page for the 1st glimpse of February's block.  Visit our Events page monthly and watch our "calendar" grow!  If you've already signed up for this fun program, your kit is waiting for you in the shop! There are plenty of December and January kits still available if you're just joining us!  

Kits are $10.95/month.   We are happy to mail your kit for an additional fee.

 

Happy Hour

January 2012 Happy Hour quilt

January's Happy Hour quilt is certainly the appropriate theme for the upcoming Valentine's Day celebrations!  Using the January strip set and Cozy Quilt's pattern "Cross My Heart" Dianne created the perfect quilt for February! There's still time to surprise someone with a heart quilt before the 14th!    

 

Below is our fat quarter selection for February!  Carol is hard at work creating the next masterpiece!  Our next Happy Hour is Friday February 24  6:30-8pm.  Don't miss the fun!!

Angela's Changing Seasons BOM
Changing Seasons-Summer  

Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring are Lynda Howell's 33" x 45" Changing Seasons Block of the Month wall hangings. One of the blocks in each season's wall quilt features a quaint house and tree which change with each season; other blocks of seasonal motifs are unique to each wall quilt. What a better way to start off your Winter than to think of warm Summer days.

Aunt Grace's Garden Party Row of the Month
Aunt Grace's Garden Party 

Vicki Bellino and Marcus Fabrics have joined forces to bring us a stunning 1930's Row of the Month featuring Aunt Grace's Garden Party fabric collection designed for Marcus by Judie Rothermel. Finished size is 77" x 83". 

 

Our ROM program includes the pattern and fabric to complete the quilt top and binding; kits available January through June 2012. Shipping is available for an additional fee.  See our Events page for more details.

 

  

Paris in the Fall BOM

Paris in the FallPaula and Julie will begin their third block of the month quilt together in January. This year's BEAUTIFUL quilt, Paris in the Fall, comes from designer, Sherri K. Falls, of This & That, and features 12 blocks (2 each of 6 designs) and a unique pieced sashing and pieced cornerstones which give the quilt a vintage feel. Classes meet on the first Friday afternoon and Saturday morning of each month-you can choose which session works best for you. One-time fee of $110 for 12-month program; pattern and fabric sold separately.
