Wow! You must love the classes we're offering for the spring/summer! Several classes are already full and many are on the way to their limit! If you're thinking of signing up for a class, stop by or make the call today! What fun we're going to have!

Don't forget that Nancy Bavor will be back with us on Thursday May 5 from 10:30am-5pm for quilt appraisals. Nancy is an American Quilter's Society Certified Appraiser and is looking forward to helping you determine the age/value of your family heirlooms. Call or stop by the shop to reserve your slot. Appraisals are $45 per quilt and each quilt is alloted 30 minutes. A quilt appraisal would make a great Mother's Day gift!

Under our Wings Community Quilting Project

Quilts of Valor

Under our Wings is a program that allows anyone to participate in national service by making a comforting Quilt of Valor for an American armed services member touched by war. You can participate whether you are an experienced quilter or someone who has never made a quilt before, or someone who simply wants to perform community service (ironing, cutting, etc.)

On Saturday May 14 from 9am-2:30pm you may sign up to participate in this project which will take place at the Fremont Union High School District Office Training Center. Pre-registration is required as classroom space is limited. Contact Jerilynn Lightfoot (jerilyn_lightfoot@fuhsd.org) for more information.
