 Are you ready?! We've received ALL of our holiday fabric and we're so excited to show it to you! Christmas in July is this Saturday from 10am - 6pm (July 24). We've been stashing away bolts and bolts of Christmas fabric.....some have even migrated to our homes since we've run out of storage room! It's time to bring it back to the store and out from under the tables and bed! As a special treat you will enjoy 20% off all Christmas fabric (1/2 yard minimum cut off the bolt). We also have quite a few new holiday patterns. You'll be inspired to get started on those holiday projects!
 If you're local, you are aware of the terrible fire at a San Jose school. One of our quilters at The Granary, Judy Voss, has a daughter who is a third grade teacher at Trace Elementary in San Jose. As you may have heard, she and 15 other teachers lost everything in the school fire on July 5. Many of these teachers use fabric as a background for their bulletin boards. If any of you have cuts of a yard or more that you would like to donate to these teachers, please drop them off at The Granary and we will pass them along to the teachers at Trace. Any fun, school-age prints would be appreciated. Gift cards to Lakeshore Learning Store and Target will also be appreciated! Thank you so much for any contribution.

We are thrilled to have a selection of quilts from Sara Diepersloot's new book, Simple Style - Easy Weekend Quilts. You will want to stop by soon to see these quilts in person! As an added treat, Sara has agreed to teach several new classes at the Granary! On Saturday, August 21 from 1-5pm Sara will lead you through the steps to make your own "Cherry Blossoms" quilt (see picture in "Upcoming Classes" section. This class will also be available on Wednesday, September 16 from 10:30am-2:30pm. Watch for our Fall newsletter for more of Sara's classes (due out mid-August).
Thank you to everyone who has been so generous with their pillowcase donations. According to the AP&Q website, over 119,000 pillowcases have been distributed to worthy causes. We have had several customers make and donate over 100 pillowcases each! Our count is will over 650. Last week we donated 110 pillowcases to the
