This newsflash is dedicated to the memory of Bob Bonomo, husband of long-time Granary employee Angela Bonomo. Bob passed away peacefully after his 5-month battle with leukemia on Thursday, May 13, surrounded by his family. Bob will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Notes and cards for Angela can be dropped off at the shop; if you desire, the family has requested that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Our thoughts and prayers are with Angela and her family. We look forward to Angela's return to the Granary in the next few weeks. We love you, Angela!

We (Paula & Jody) arrived in Minneapolis for Quilt Market on Sunday. So far we've toured several quilt shops, visited with Clarinda (previous Granary store manager) and had fun with Robin & Diane (owners of Tater Patch Quilts). Last night we had dinner at a diner - Talk Town Diner - that was featured on HGTV's Diner, Drive-ins & Dives. It was as great as Guy said it would be! Today it's more quilt shop hopping before checking in to our hotel in downtown Minneapolis and getting geared up for Quilt Market which starts tomorrow. We will keep you updated on Facebook so if you're not a "Fan" of the Granary simply click the link to our page .
