| June 4, 2010--is the Friendship Triangle reveal on your calendar? We're so anxious to see the beautiful quilts, wall quilts & table toppers you've made with the thousands of half square triangles distributed this month. If you didn't participate you're welcome to come and check it out. After you see the gorgeous creations you'll want to participate in the next round!
Our next "Cinnamon Sticks" program starts TODAY! We will be using a beautiful selection of Civil War era fabrics AND we'll be exchanging some of the Friendship Triangles we receive from you with ones made by customers of our BFFQS (best friend forever quilt shop), Tater Patch Quilts in Merrill, OR! This should be fun!
What are "Cinnamon Sticks"? .... A Cinnamon Stick is a mini-kit consisting of two pieces of 6 1/2" x 22" fabric rolled with one sheet of triangle paper used to make half-square triangle units. Each Cinnamon Stick makes 28 half-square triangles (2" finished). The program will run through the end of June. We will stop selling Cinnamon Sticks on June 12 to give you 2 weeks to complete what you have and get them turned in. |

 To the left is the beautiful quilt Mary Kay created using the April strip set! Patterns are available in the shop...there may be one or two strip sets available too but hurry!
Below is the fabric collection for May. We'll be using a Layer Cake friendly pattern that you're sure to love. Call or stop by the shop to sign up for our next Happy Hour which will take place on Friday, May 28 2-3:30pn OR 6:30-8pm. Cost is $38....the pattern is free!
