| Strip Club |
To the left is the stunning quilt made using the October strip set! We used the Bali Pop "Cotton Candy". There are a few of these strip sets left as well as other Bali Pops that would also be perfect using this pattern.
Below is the fabric collection for November. Be sure to sign up before November 15 and pay only $38. After the 15th the cost goes up to $48. If you're new to "Strip Club" be sure to see our website for all the details! Our next Strip Club will meet Friday November 27 from 2-3:30pm OR 6:30-8pm. Beverages and appetizers will be served. You won't want to miss the fun! If you know you'll be away for the Thanksgiving holiday you can still sign up and we're happy to hold your strips & pattern! |
| Holiday Community Service Project |
Our Holiday Community Service Project has begun. Once again this year we will be supporting Sunnyvale Community Services. For more than a dozen years, SCS has provided a "Christmas Store" where its clients are afforded the dignity of selecting a two-week supply of food, new gifts for infants through teens, and a household gift (towels, blankets, basic kitchen items). Last year, over 1,100 families were served! Imagine the quantities involved for gifts and a two-week supply of groceries for that many families! The SCS website has a complete list of items that are most needed! All you have to do is bring your items to the Granary anytime during October or November-we will take care of delivering them to SCS! When you bring your donations to the Granary, you will receive a raffle ticket for each item you donate. In January, we will raffle a gift basket including a Granary gift certificate and other great quilting supplies, including books, patterns, fabric, notions and more! The SCS Christmas Store opens to its clients in early December so shop early, take advantage of those sales and bring your donations to the shop before the end of November. |

| Mystery Step of the Month |
It's not too late to sign up for the Mystery Step of the Month! There are only 3 fabrics involved this time, and we're sure you'll love the quilt pattern. We're always happy to help with your fabric choices. Steps 1 and 2 are now available in the shop. Remember, there's no fee or set times to meet! Simply purchase all your fabric and the pattern is free! Participating in a "step of the month" program is a great way to construct a quilt you may look at and decide you're not "talented" enough to make. With a step of the month program you're breaking it down into manageable pieces and everyone in the program is always amazed at what they've created. Try it! We're confident you'll love the process! Be sure to check out photos from the last mystery on our website. |
