Our Holiday Community Service Project has begun.  Once again this year we will be supporting Sunnyvale Community Services. For more than a dozen years, SCS has provided a "Christmas Store" where its clients are afforded the dignity of selecting a two-week supply of food, new gifts for infants through teens, and a household gift (towels, blankets, basic kitchen items). Last year, over 1,100 families were served! Imagine the quantities involved for gifts and a two-week supply of groceries for that many families! The SCS website has a complete list of items that are most needed!
 
All you have to do is bring your items to the Granary anytime during October or November-we will take care of delivering them to SCS!  When you bring your donations to the Granary, you will receive a raffle ticket for each item you donate. In January, we will raffle a gift basket including a Granary gift certificate and other great quilting supplies, including books, patterns, fabric, notions and more! The SCS Christmas Store opens to its clients in early December so shop early, take advantage of those sales and bring your donations to the shop before the end of November.
