| Susan's New Block of the Month! |
 If you enjoyed any of our previous "of-the-month" projects (potholder of the month, table topper of the month, Bee Industrious of the month), our new program could very well be your favorite! With Halloween being such a popular holiday among quilters, Susan has chosen Amy Bradley's adorable "Happy Halloween" pattern for her next project. (pictured left) Here's how it works-you purchase your pattern for the whole series of monster faces, and on the first of each month we'll have a kit with just enough fabric for that month's block ready for you to pick up. Kits run $9.95. The program began August 1, but you can sign up anytime before October 31. If you keep up with the program and make just one block each month, you will have a wonderful Halloween quilt ready to hang before Halloween 2010. A finishing kit will be available and will include sashing, fabric for the "Happy Halloween" banner and borders. Stop by or call today to sign up! |
| Mystery Step of the Month |
| The date has been set for the Mystery Quilt reveal! We will meet on Friday, September 18 at 6pm (note time change from 6:30!) for the unveiling of the mystery quilts! This will be an informal gathering where we can "ooooh" and "aaww" at everyone's quilt! Those that bring their finished quilt top to the party will be offered a 20% discount on the backing fabric. The party is free and open to all those involved in the Mystery Step of the Month and those that are interested in seeing what it's all about. We will be introducing our next mystery at this party so don't be left behind! Discounts will be offered to those purchasing their fabric for the new mystery!

| Strip Club (it's back!) |
 Ready to start "stripping" again? To the left is the fun fabric collection that we've put together to start our 3rd year of Strip Club! Stop by or call the shop to sign up! The next Strip Club meeting is Friday, September 25 from 2-3:30pm OR 6:30-8pm.
If you're new to "Strip Club" here are the details! Paula, Jody and Mary Kay will be hosting a "strip" club and demoing new "stripping" techniques-to make beautiful quilts, of course! Each month a specially-coordinated bundle of 2 ½" precut strips (between 35-50 strips), and a strip-friendly surprise pattern will be introduced along with a thorough demonstration of assembly techniques. You'll provide your own background, border and binding fabrics (as necessary depending on the pattern) so that everyone's quilts will be unique. The fabrics will be revealed the month prior to the meeting so you can decide if you'll be strippin' with us at the next meeting. The pattern will remain a secret until the night of the meeting but will always be free if you purchase the bundle (patterns are $5 without the purchase of a bundle). There is no cover charge or long-term commitment for the Granary's strip club! Join us for our own version of "Happy Hour" whichever months you choose for $48. Better yet, when you pre-register for a strip club night (before the 15th of the month prior to the meeting), you will receive a special price of just $38 for your bundle. This allows us enough time to assemble an appropriate number of bundles for the upcoming meeting. Beverages and appetizers will be served! You won't want to miss the fun!
