Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The Granary website has been updated with all the great classes and events we're offering for the May - August time frame. In the shop we have "Upcoming Class" signs on the new samples and the class signup sheets are ready to go so if you have a chance, come by and see what we're offering! Check out the coupon at the end of this email!

Quilt appraiser, Nancy Bavor, will be at The Granary on Saturday, May 16 from 1-6pm. Call today to reserve your spot! You will receive a written appraisal for each quilt you bring in. Nancy's fee is $40 per quilt appraisal; each appraisal takes approximately 30 minutes.l

We now have a way for you to go back and reference prior emails! Log on to our website and look for the "Email Archive" button. Now if you delete an email from your inbox you can still access the information!

Mary Kay Davis

We're so proud of Mary Kay! Not only was she the featured artist for the recent SCVQA quilt show April 4/5, but she is also featured in two new publications from the American Quilter's Society. Mary Kay's quilt, Shimmering Sight (pictured below), is featured in the new AQS book Burgoyne Surrounded: New Quilts from an Old Favorite. Another of her quilts, A Different Direction, is featured in the new Quilt Art Engagement Calendar for 2010, also from AQS. Both publications are available at the shop!

We also have a few copies of Alex Anderson's Neutral Expressions in which her quilt, Crème Brulee, is one of seven featured patterns. Speaking of Alex Anderson, if you click on this link you will be taken to The Quilt Show's Blog where Mary Kay's quilt Shimmering Sight is also featured in a slide show.
