What's New in 2012 Nuts About Reading Program
Troops are encouraged to participate in Council Product Programs. Please note that troops wishing to do outside fundraisers must participate in the Cookie Program and the Nuts About Reading Program in order to qualify for approval of additional fundraising. During the course of the Council Product Programs, no outside fundraisers are permitted; any group money-earning activities should not compete with Girl Scout Product Programs.
Service Unit Point Challenge
This year, there will be one all-encompassing Service Unit Challenge Form. This form will combine point-earning activities from both the Nuts About Reading Program and the Cookie Program and will be due to Council at the end of the 2013 Cookie Program.
The dates and locations have been announced for all Service Unit Nuts About Reading Manager, (SUNAR,) training's for the Nuts About Reading Program. Invitations will be sent to SUNAR's with registration instructions.

November 26, 2012 - ACH email sent out to troops with balance of ACH sweep.
November 28, 2012 - Deadline for submitting ACH Deadline Extension form to delay sweep. Deadline for submitting T-5 Parent Debt to adjust sweep balance
December 5, 2012 - ACH Sweep Date
December 7 and December 8, 2012 - Reconciliation for Nuts About Reading
December 17th -ACH delayed and reconciliation Sweep Date.
Project Thank You is new to GSEP for the Nuts About Reading Program. Customers can donate $5 to troops serving overseas to provide them with Honey Roasted Peanuts or a magazine voucher.
New Products in the Line-Up
New products being offered this year include Mint Penguins, Peanut Butter Bears, and Dulce De Leche. We are also offering Wasabi Almonds which will be replacing the variety pack offered in 2011.
