2012 Cookie Program

This year's Cookie Program starts on January 19, 2012. Cookies cannot be sold before this date. Please refrain from distributing order cards at your places of employment, distributing flyers, posting on social media, etc. before this date as well. GSEP's cookies will remain at $3.50 per package in 2012.

2012 Cookie Program Contests

  • "Bling Your Booth!" Remember that throughout the 2012 Cookie Program, we will be holding a "Bling Your Booth" contest. For more information, visit www.gsep.org and click on "Cookies and More," then "Cookie Events and Contests."
  • "2012 in 2012!" Every girl that sells at least 2012 packages of Girl Scout Cookies will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a special prize!
  • 5=52 Customer Contest!  Is a chance for customers to win a year's supply of Girl Scout Cookies (i.e. 52 packages!). For every five packages of cookies purchased, the customer has a chance to enter a drawing for 52 packages of cookies.  Girls can distribute 5=52 Entry Cards to their customers. An online entry form will be available on the "Cookie Events and Contests" page under "Cookies and More" at www.gsep.org. Five winners will be chosen at the end of the Cookie Program.

Financial Responsibility

If you are a Troop Cookie Manager, please ensure that you are making regular deposits for cookies that you have received throughout the program. GSEP is responsible for paying for the initial order of cookies 10 days after our first delivery.  For this reason, and as a general good practice, it is important to make regular deposits.

Council Cookie Booth Free-for-All

Council Cookie Booths remaining after the initial Council Cookie Booth Lottery will be distributed in the following manner. Login to www.abcsnap.com at midnight on January 5, 2012 (evening of January 4/morning of January 5) to secure a Council Cookie Booth. From January 5 to January 12, each troop will be allowed to choose one available Council Cookie Booth location. On January 12, the system will open up for troops to book as many available booths as they wish.

Initial Order Information

Troops that have not placed an initial order will need to pick up their cookies from a Council Sponsored Reorder Station once the Cookie Program begins. They can do this by placing a planned order ahead of time or showing up for an unplanned order at one of our five unplanned order locations: Lehigh Valley Service Center, Shelly Ridge Service Center, Valley Forge Service Center, Fischer Hughes Lansdale, or Reads Moving and Storage in Hatboro. Please see the Council Sponsored Reorder Station Schedule for planning purposes.

If your troops have forgotten their pickup information, you can access their pickup time/location/late/date by logging into www.abcsnap.com and viewing the "Delivery Station Appointment Summary Report" under the REPORTS icon.

In the case of inclement weather and pick-up location closings, please check our "Cookie Alerts" posted under "Cookies and More" at www.gsep.org. This will be the primary location where this information will be posted.

Council Sponsored Reorder Station Schedule

Council Sponsored Reorder Stations are locations where troops can go to obtain more cookies as their inventory depletes. Here is the Council Sponsored Reorder Station Schedule for 2012. Troops need to pay attention to whether the location is a planned or unplanned location and follow the appropriate schedule. Before picking up cookies at a Council Sponsored Reorder Station, please remember to check the Cookie Alerts page at www.gsep.org for any closings.

Mobile Payments

This year a small group of older girl troops will be piloting an initiative to accept credit card payments for Girl Scout Cookies with a mobile device. This pilot group is instrumental in measuring the success of mobile payments. If this pilot is a success, we will offer mobile payments on a larger scale for next year's Cookie Program.
