Greetings!
I hope that this newsletter finds you all rested from a peaceful summer. If you happened to buzz your way through your summer then I assure you that there is always the fall season to find a place to retreat and renew.
During my summer vacation in August, I discovered what it means to slow down and rest. It felt healthy and natural to allow myself time to pause. I liked how I felt during those delicious days and am committed to training myself to find times to be still during my daily life this fall.
I am convinced that we are all very well trained at being efficient and producing but we are very "under-trained" at creating the space and time to pause. Most of us, myself included, just don't know how to stop moving.
This fall at Verge Yoga, we will offer our community new programming to help you discover how to rest both your minds and your bodies. A weekly Yin Yoga class, our new Foundations classes and our Brand New Beginner Meditation Series can start us all on the path of living a more "rest-filled" life.
We look forward to renewing with you all in the coming months.
Namaste,
Cara Bradley, cscs, e-ryt Director |

I do not just love yoga, I love Verge Yoga!
We must absolutely do what we love, Or we run the risk of doing nothing at all - a quote that sits on my desktop. It is only Verge yoga that truly moves me. To me, it means letting go, moving on, and moving forward with out struggle, on my mat and, only then, in my life.
After my first BNB class the love emerged and I made a commitment to honor this new connection in my life. Key to this connection is listening intently; listneing to my breath and listening to my teacher brings me to my movement. Then, I become amazed at what my body can do! If it were only that easy. My not-so-best friend, Hesitation, creeps up fast and hits me hard at times. It is then, I breathe; let go, and decide to honor myself and do what I love.
Thank you Verge! |
