STANDUP ACT UPDATE

The STANDUP Act adds co-sponsors in the House of Representatives

H.R. 1895, the Safe Teen And Novice Driver Uniform Protection Act, now has 19 co-sponsors, including two who were added in the past ten days:  Rep. Christopher Lee (D-NY) and Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN).
 
Thank you, Reps. Lee and Ellison, for your support of legislation that will reduce teen driver related crashes, prevent injuries, and save lives.

The Safe Teen And Novice Driver Uniform Protection (STANDUP) Act is federal legislation that would compel states to strengthen their laws for novice teen drivers, often called Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) laws.
