Mist Wave @ Cedar Grove Beach 
The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation's Art in the Parks program is pleased to announce the opening of Mist Wave, an interactive public art installation by Padilla-Harris, the artist duo composed of Andrea Padilla and Stanley Harris. Displayed along Cedar Grove Beach in Staten Island, the exhibition will be on view through Labor Day Weekend. Cedar Grove Beach on Staten Island is accessible to the public for the first time in 99 years. Staten Island's new gem is officially opened and staffed with city lifeguards. Cedar Grove Beach is already drawing crowds looking for sun and surf much closer to home.
It's now the city's 8th public beach and Mist Wave's 2012 home
