PARKING REMOVAL @ THE ST. GEORGE FERRY TERMINAL

 

NYCDOT Division of Bridges has been rehabilitating the ramps leading into the St. George Ferry Terminal with stimulus funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Beginning on or about Monday, May 21st drainage repairs will begin in the North Municipal Parking Lot requiring the temporary removal of approximately 30 permit parking spaces near the front of the lot.

HEALTH CARE TIP OF THE WEEK  

 

 Mammograms and clinical breast examinations are the most important tools for early detection of breast cancer.  In honor of Mother's Day, NYC Health and Hospitals Corp. will be offering mammograms and breast exams during extended hours at two Staten Island clinics this month.  The HHC Health Connection Mobile Medical Office (stationed at 460 Brielle Avenue) and Sea View Hospital Rehabilitation Center will host dedicated hours for clinical breast screening exams and mammograms on Thursday, May 17th and Thursday May 24th from 4:00-8:00pm.
