Preparing for 2012

As the year comes to a close, investors have been looking back and reviewing their decisions to find that this has been a difficult, frustrating, and extremely volatile year. With the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 Index virtually unchanged in 2011, with severe up and down swings that could have whip-lashed the neck of a pro-tennis judge. Stock investors are asking how they can increase their chances for making money and reduce the impact to volatile markets.
