December is the time to plant your springtime bulbs, and ours are already chilled for you! Buy some pre-chilled bulbs and listen to our 2nd Saturday speaker at 10:00 a.m.,Bettie Abbate, Professor of Horticulture at Delgado Community College. She will explain why we "chill" bulbs, naturalize bulbs, and which bulbs we should plant for the best show here in New Orleans.

In November Parkway Partners worked with the Friends of Joe W. Brown Park to plant 3000 iris in the lagoons in New Orleans East. The iris were courtesy of a generous donation by Bois d'Arc Gardens in Schriever, Louisiana.
