| Second Saturday Program--It's Tree Planting Time |

Saturday, November 13th, 9-12 we are celebrating the launch of Tree Planting Season. At 10:00 a.m. Scott Courtright, a professional arborist, will be speaking about choosing the right tree, planting and care.
There will be flowering and hardwood trees for purchase, along with fruit trees, colorful winter bedding, blooming shrubs, bulbs, indoor home and office plants.
And introducing Parkway Partners first ever 2011 Calendar with planting references specific to New Orleans. Available for sale now, only $6

Nell Nolan of the Times Picayune and a ghoulish Elvis from the Krewe of the Rolling Elvi visit in the hall.
The convergence of Feast with the Stars and Halloween created a lively party that will not soon be forgotten. The entertainment provided by the NORD Instructors Jazz Ensemble and Friends, free-flowing drinks, great food, the celebrities and special guests, and silent auction all combined to make it the best Feast event ever!

Feast with the Stars and the first annual Parkway Partners' patron party were hugely successful and highly entertaining. Flo Schornstein was honored with the first "Green Spirit" award for many years of service to the City and to Parkway Partners.
