closely with the City of New Orleans
Department of Parks and Parkways but
does not receive any funding from the city.
We rely on contributions from the private
sector to enable our many programs. All
contributions are tax-exempt.

Feast with the Stars launches 2009 tree planting season |

Thanks to everyone who supported
Parkway Partners by attending Feast with
the Stars 2009 and helped us kick off the
tree planting season.
To date we have introduced more than
6000 trees in neighborhoods throughout
the city. Link to the pictures of the
event here . . .
There's lots more to be done and you can
help by participating in Parkway Partners
10 for the Hood initiative, planting at least
10 street trees in your neighborhood. It's
easy, just get together with your neighbors
and complete the Agreement
Form. Parkway Partners will provide
the trees and secure the approval from the
city. Get moving because completed
forms must be received in our office no
later than November 17.
