The Happiest Holidays are about Giving!
To each and every one of our incredible women, men, and …well, all of you, we first want to wish you a very blessed, safe, and happy Holiday! We all know how difficult times have been – especially the past couple of months – for all of us and probably even worse for someone you know and love. We wish for you - to remember the most important part of our lives: friends and family. Things come and go, but love, support, and friendship will endure. We hope that these are the three things for which you truly rejoice during this special time!
Monday December 15
We understand that money is especially tight for everyone this year, but we ask that if you can, remember the children who are need – all year long. For the families who are grateful for the services of the Eastside Domestic Violence Program (www.EDVP.org), you can make a child’s holiday happier than they could ever imagine.
Most of the kids at EDVP had to flee their homes with the pajamas they were wearing and if lucky, a favorite blanket. So you can imagine their delight when he or she opens that special gift you’ve chosen with them in mind! Truly, ‘tis better to give than to receive.
Chat With Women will be broadcasting LIVE on Monday Dec. 15th from Starbucks in Factoria - at Loehmann's Plaza #1: 3560C 128th Ave. S.E., Bellevue 98006 - 425-747-9441 in between QFC and Great Harvest Bread! If you can, please stop by and see us! We’re collecting unwrapped toys and money to help the Eastside Domestic Violence Program. Donate a gift for the Third Annual Holiday Toy Drive and you’ll receive a free, short brewed cup o’ Joe courtesy of Starbucks! Now that’s the holiday spirit! Please stop by, say hello, and make this an especially joyous time for kids and families who will be Oh, So Very Grateful!
That’s this Monday, December 15th at 8am; if you can’t make it to the live remote show, logon to www.chatwithwomen.com and www.EDVP.org. The show is on KKNW 1150 AM.
