Mother's Day in San Francisco
 Having grown up in San Francisco, one never visits the tourist sites that make it so much fun. For Mother's Day, we flew into SF, rode BART (public transit) and the cable car to get to our hotel on Nob Hill. My favorites were the breakfast hikes to Chinatown, North Beach, the tour of the murals at Coit Tower, and of course, staying at the Mark Hopkins Hotel. And I will also remember the time spent with my mom (she's 82!) and the stories she told of her life growing up in China and her passage aboard a ship from Canton to San Francisco.
