We now have a desginated 'feature wall' here at Row House. We'll regularly rotate a theme- or artist-oriented exhibit on the feature wall, so something new will always be popping up. Currently, we're showing works by local artist, Bobbi Thies, like this juicy painting of 20-Brix in Milford. Bobbi has painted several Milford scenes on that are currently on display including Bishop's Bicycles, the Shoe Repair, and Milford Cleaners. Check out more of Bobbi's art works here.

Plein Air painters from around the tri-state will descend upon Milford for the second annual all day Milford Paint Out. Plein Air means to paint in the open air in natural light. This art form became a very important part of the Impressionist Movement and to artists such as Van Gogh and Monet.

 

The event is free and the public is invited to attend, to watch, and participate in this outdoor painting adventure.

 

9 am - 3 pm - See artists at work as they set up their easels along the picturesque streets of the historic town, South and East Milford and along the little Miami River.

 

3:30 - 5 pm - Art works created during the Paint Out will be available for purchase during the Wet Paint Sale.

 

Afterwards, selected works will be available here at the gallery for a period of time. It's a great event...don't miss this special day!

 

This gentle scene of a man and his horse is a reminder of the bond that makes so many people treasure their animal friends. The farmer's hard-working friend takes a break from the day's chores, but these two "Long Time Friends" know there are still many tasks to be completed before their day is through.
