Raw Living Community Now Forming in Waltham
For Raw Foodists, community is extremely important. On Moody street, in Waltham Massachusetts, a wonderful raw living community is now forming. It is a very large house with 7-9 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, plenty of off street parking, yard, sun porch and large kitchen suitable for an awesome raw kitchen with at least 2 large refrigerators, dehydrators and a possible wheatgrass station. There is also a large room which can be used for yoga classes, gatherings, raw food trainings, guests and all kinds of great stuff. The location is close to the commuter rail and a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Organic farm. Eventual commercial space is even a possibility for group creativity. The monthly rent to all members combined is $4,000 for the rent + utilities. Expenses are divided evenly among all members. Until this amount is achieved, the rent is $600 individually plus utilities. Utilities are also evenly divided by all members with the incentive to conserve energy as a group. This makes it less expensive and very reasonable when the community house is fully occupied. For this place, there are many great possibilities. The house will be renovated before the community house begins and available this spring or summer. The owner is also a raw foodist and will customize the kitchen for raw food creativity and requirements. For more info, please contact Tom Lindsley, tom_sawyer@comcast.net. |

Raw Food Anthem - Check It Out!! and sing along together Feb 19th
Shortcut to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr4_RfJxwsU&feature=related
Once I ate it all. I went to Mickey Ds'. Thinking fast food was the ticket to a life of ease. But then I spent so many nights thinking 'bout cholesterol, and 'bout how those multi-nationals put my back against the wall. I don't eat food - from outer space. I am concerned about consuming something that had a face. I don't eat no smelly locks and I don't need no stinking cheese. But the food I really root fo,r is the stuff that grows on trees. Oh yes, I ,,, I will eat raw. Don't give me crispy bacon, cuz I'd rather chew on straw. I've got vegetables to eat. I consider fruits a treat. I will eat raw. . .. . .I will eat raw. Well, first I cut out beef there's too much fat and grease Then I gave the axe to poultry when I thought of geese. I imagine fish are screaming when they're hanging on those hooks, Man, I couldn't eat another cuz I've see that wall-eyed look. After going veg, I didn't change my mind. In fact eggs and all that dairy weren't far behind. I've read about the health concerns and issues in a book and I also read that you'd be better off if you don't cook. And you see me, somebody new, not that mixed up little monster using canines to chew. So you felt like dropping in with sausage pizza and a sprite. But if it use to bite me back, I ain't taking a bite And now I ,,, I will eat raw. I don't want to hear about it if it rapped and needs to thaw. I 'v got wheatgrass by the shot. Dude, uncooked cuisine is haute. I will eat raw ,,, I will eat raw Oh don't offer me a toaster, I don't need food any warmer. But in a choose between my blender and my car I choose the former. I don't own a microwave, but my juicer sure kicks @ss It can squeeze a pound of produce, peels and all into a glass. I will eat raw ,,, I will eat raw I'm not like a vicious raptor with its pray between its jaw. I've got beets I need to peel I've got food that really real I will eat raw ,,, I will eat raw Babe I have to break the news, I'm leaving more than fish and chips My new philosophy also affects relationships. After dating omnivores, I guess I'm voting with my feet. And I'll be saving all my loving for someone who don't eat meat. Go on and go, walk out the door. The next knock that I hear won't be you or Mu-Shu-Pork Weren't you the one who tried to feed me clams you fried? Did ya think I'd crumble? Did ya think I'd eat something that died? Oh no not moi, I will eat raw. In theory sushi be ok, but fish sticks in my craw. I want live stock to live. It's a gift that I can give. . .. And I'll eat raw. . ..I will eat raw.
