Letter from the President, Michael DeLuise
Once again the Hunt is on and you still have time to sign up and become an integral part of a fun-filled event focused on helping a most worthy cause. The Young Professional Group of the Melville Chamber of Commerce and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are getting ready for the Second Annual Hunt Long Island set for Saturday, September 24, 2011. The Melville Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to be part of this great event that helps such a worthy cause and adds focus on the good work of Long Island's business community and our most precious Long Island treasures, our extremely talented young men and women professionals. The Hunt begins at the 300 Long Island Bowling Center on Route 110 in Melville. Corporate and family teams must bowl a strike as their first task before utilizing clues to find the treasures of Long Island on and around the Route 110 Corridor from Amityville through Huntington. The day ends with a big party celebration back at 300 Bowling alley with prizes, entertainment and awards for the top fundraisers and winning teams. "The Hunt Long Island is a great corporate bonding event for Long Island's generous young executives. This is THE Long Island Scavenger Hunt!! Last year's Hunt was a great success with even greater expectations for this September. Long Islanders will be Hunting for years to come as another Long Island community tradition is created, just like the Long Island Marathon." said Michele Michaels who heads the Young Professional Group of the Melville Chamber of Commerce.
