Melville has become one of the most enjoyable "hot" spots summer on Long Island as hundreds of our members and their guests take advantage of the ongoing schedule of exciting events being by the Melville Chamber of Commerce presented now through Labor Day. If you were one of the many able to join the excitement of June's Corporate Bowling Challenge or during the past few months you attended one of the special networking evenings at The Chateau, FOUR, Dave & Buster's or even if you just stopped by the Chamber office for a cup of coffee you know that we are doing more than just basking in the sun. Preparing for the fall the Chamber plans to offer our members another full season of very special, special events. The fun starts with the presentation of the 2nd Annual Hunt Long Island on Saturday September 24th. Throughout the months ahead members will meet and closely interact with the government, media and business leaders who have the interest and ability to answer their questions, solve their problems and offer priceless advice. Last fall and spring were blockbuster seasons for the Melville Chamber of Commerce and our more than 350 corporate members. In the upcoming months we will continue to provide the support and programming that has made the Chamber one of the fastest growing influential business groups in the region. We remind you to take full advantage of you membership. Attend as many breakfast and evening meetings as possible. Participate in special events such as popular highly attended Annual Business Expo in October and the inaugural Long Island Real Estate and Business Experience in June. Ted Macaluso, Executive Director of the Melville Chamber of Commerce is always available to answer any questions and tell you how you can more involved in any event or Chamber project. The success of our Chamber, indeed the economic success of the entire Long Island business community lies in level of involvement we as business leaders dedicate to building a strong economic environment.
