Leadership Community is a monthly gathering of all MDC staff,
Missional Community leaders, apprentices, Kids Crossing leaders and
teachers... anyone who contributes somehow to God's work in the church.
It will be occurring on May 15 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Peace Community
Church in Frankfort. The Sessions There are two sessions for the morning. The first session is from
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. is the main session for everybody. The second
session is 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. and intended for ministry leaders to meet
with their respective ministry area.
Parents, childcare will be provided, but you need to let me know via your RSVP how many children will be coming along that morning!

Call for Nominations

Since Missio Dei Church's earliest days, we have pursued the priesthood of all believers and that every member is called a minister of the Gospel. God has gifted each believer with spiritual gifts to glorify Him by serving Him and His mission.
Currently the Elders of MDC are looking at how, even in our nomination and ordination processes, we can best utilize all the gifts and talents of its membership. To serve God and His mission, the Elders are seeking the nominations of Covenant Members to serve on a Nomination Team.
Through the ministry of this team much needed help will be brought to the Elders by helping create a recommended list of biblically qualified nominees for the Offices of Elder and Deacon. The creation of this recommended list will be compiled after prayer, thoughtful reflection, and mediation over Scripture.
Please prayerfully consider who within the Covenant Membership is qualified to serve the church in this capacity. If you have any questions about the Nomination Team, please contact Elder Nathan Phillips (nathan@mdchurch.us) or Pastor Paul Vroom (paul@mdchurch.us). All nominations are to be turned in no later than THIS SUNDAY, May 16.

Let's Go Camping!!

| For the past three summers we have "canceled" corporate worship on
one Sunday morning to go camping together as a family! This year will
be no different! We will be transplanting our church for a weekend to Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty, IN. Last year sixty-five people roughed it in tents and/or campers. We were able to laugh and eat together, build community, and start an impromptu choir. We built memories!
