OFFERINGS AT MISSIO DEI
There are two Sundays left to donate to Haiti. So far, we have raised about half of our goal. Please give generously from your heart. There is so much rebuilding to be done.
The Elders of Missio Dei Church decided that we will be financially supporting two different organizations.
Special love offerings will be taken through Sunday, February 14 during communion. These offerings will be in addition to our regular tithes and offerings and benevolence. During the week of February 14, we will reexamine whether or not to continue taking special offerings for Haiti.
We believe that we can collect more than $4,000 as a church and would love for this to be an expression of our willingness to "bear one another's burdens... especially to those who are of the household of faith."

Snowboarding/Skiing Trip

The MDC third annual snowboarding trip is going to be Saturday, February 6th at Devil's Head Resort in Wisconsin. We will gather at the Ministry Center at 6:00 AM and drive up in a large vehicle for a day of fun in the snow. Each year proves to be a great day of riding, chillin', and connecting. So whether you are a pro or beginner, join us for a great time in the snow.
COSTS: Those who would like to go will cover their own lift ticket, rental, lunch. Additionally each person is asked to pitch in for gas money. If you have any questions at nathan@mdchurch.us

Second Tuesday Prayer
|
|
|
 We believe that prayer is a vital part of worshiping our Savior. We
want to be people who are in communication with their God as they
drive, as they go to class, as they work, as they spend time with
family or friends. We believe that God listens to, cares about, and
responds to the prayers of those who know Him. Second Tuesday is our monthly time of community prayer. We will be meeting in the Peace Community Church library on Tuesday, February 9, at 7:00 pm. You can RSVP and get directions here. |
Leadership Community

|
It is
important for us as a church to know God's vision for us and to be
reminded and encouraged by it regularly. It is said that a vision
starts dying after a couple of months if the leaders rarely or never
hear about it. This usually leads to feelings of being disconnected,
unappreciated, and burned out. So we have made it our commitment to
meet once a month to celebrate what God is doing through us, to
continue to cast his vision, and to encourage the leaders in his
mission. Leadership Community, then, is really like a big party or pep
rally where we share vision and appreciate our leaders.
The next Leadership Community is Saturday, February 20, from 9:00-11:00 am. Hope to see you there.

Donate Your Ink Cartridges
|

|
The children's ministry - Kid's Crossing -
is asking for your help. We want all your old and used up ink cartridges to
turn in to purchase new tables and chairs for the kids. Just drop your old ink
cartridges into the marked trash can at the back of church. For more info
