Don't Miss the Educational Opporutnites Taking Place On the Business Fair Floor!

This year WBENC has added a new benefit to the Business Fair experience: Learning Labs. These mini classrooms located on the Business Fair floor will cover various topics that will be presented by WBENC Corporate Members and WBEs. Here's a sneak peak at two of the topics that will be offered.

AT&T's Learning Lab will provide information about technology solutions that can give small businesses a competitive advantage in the marketplace.  They will showcase AT&T Mobility, Cloud Computing and/or other technology applications relevant to their business, and access to capital options for these solutions. The benefits of these include:

  • Small diverse businesses improve their business communication infrastructure with mobile applications
  • Enhances diverse businesses' ability to compete for large corporate contracts
  • Increases diverse firms' awareness of solutions available for small /mid size businesses
  • Diverse businesses' can examine how emerging technologies will influence their business models.

Judy Bradt, CEO of Summit Insight, a WBENC-Certified company and presenter of one of the government workshops, will present a hands-on Learning Lab that will get WBEs on the fast track to their next federal contract -- or even the first one. WBEs will practice new skills using powerful free tools to find sweet spot federal opportunities ahead of their competition, take away a cheat sheet that makes it easy to pick up the momentum once you get home, and be invited to a free bonus webinar refresher lesson after returning home.

Stay tuned for next week's conference e-newsletter where more Learning Lab topics will be featured.
